What is the Holland Code Career Test?

The Holland Code Career Test, also known as the RIASEC model, is a career assessment tool that helps you identify your work personality and find careers that match your interests and preferences. It categorizes people into six different personality types and matches them with corresponding work environments.

The Six Personality Types

Realistic (R)

Practical, physical, hands-on, mechanical, and technical. People with this type enjoy working with things, machines, tools, and outdoor activities.

Investigative (I)

Analytical, intellectual, scientific, and explorative. People with this type enjoy working with ideas, research, and solving complex problems.

Artistic (A)

Creative, original, independent, and expressive. People with this type enjoy working with ideas, art, music, and creative expression.

Social (S)

Helpful, cooperative, supportive, and empathetic. People with this type enjoy working with people, teaching, and helping others.

Enterprising (E)

Persuasive, leadership, management, and sales-oriented. People with this type enjoy working with people, leading, and influencing others.

Conventional (C)

Detail-oriented, organized, clerical, and systematic. People with this type enjoy working with data, following procedures, and maintaining order.

How to Take the Test
